American rapper 50 Cent has reacted to the incident about presidential aspirant Donald Trump being shot at, and now he is the one trending after the whole saga.
The FBI has identified the gunman as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Authorities say he fired multiple shots from a building rooftop just outside the rally venue, before he was killed by Secret Service agents.
Meanwhile, after the incident that is now being described as an assassination attempt, 50 Cent is now trending, having passed through a similar phase at some point in his career. He posted on his ‘X’ a picture of Donald Trump, under the guise of his ‘Get rich or die tryin ‘ album cover, with the caption, ‘Trump gets shot and now I’m trending.’
“I know the vibes,” noted 50 cent, posting a clip of his track “Many Men (Wish Death)” from Get Rich or Die Tryin’. “We are all in trouble now!” he said, reacting to the incident.
Why are we all in trouble?
Recall on May 24, 2000, 50 Cent was shot nine times with a handgun in a drive-by shooting in front of his grandmother’s house in South Jamaica, Queens, New York.
According to reports, the rapper was standing outside the house when a car drove by, and someone inside opened fire on him. 50 Cent was hit multiple times, including in his hand, arm, hip, legs, chest, and face. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition and underwent multiple surgeries to save his life.
50 Cent released Many Men (wish death) after the deadly attack, and speaking after the incident he said, “I didn’t know why I was shot at, but i feel it is karma’ some people feel if i continue the way i am currently going i would do something to harm them” he said.
Perhaps the former American president, Trump, passes through the same trajectory as the rapper. Trump while being taken away raised his hands, a symbol of I would be back even better, gaining the sympathy of many.
50 Cent further admitted while bouncing back to stardom, “The difference was I had been in a life-threatening situation and that’s what’s changed conceptually,” 50 says. “My music style heightened and intensified the presentation because it made it something that let’s say the person who was a little further away from what was going on in the cities was able to go on a safari and not be hurt by the animals.” he told the BET in a live session last year.
Trump and 50 Cent what we know
Donald Trump is gonna be president again, 50 Cent had said, earlier this year. He shared an AI video of Trump, along with a caption that read, “The world’s almost over so what are we all worried about? I think Trump’s gonna be president again, but I’m not going to say that.” Obviously 50 Cent is a fan and supporter of the former American president who is gunning to be American president again.
Even though he has received media backlashes for his statement, more recently, he noted in February that perhaps, “Trump is the answer” after realising that the New York government was thinking about handing migrants prepaid credit cards.
While the climax is heating up, 50 Cent is also feeling the heat on social media platforms, ranking alongside 2-pac as the top trending celebrities since last night after the Trump incident.
